I completed my apprenticeship as an Industrial Blacksmith with BHP in 1994. I then worked at another Newcastle blacksmith shop before moving onto a large fabrication & mine maintenance company.
I joined the Reliance Hexham team in August 1996 utilising my skills in fabrication, forging & heat treatment of steels. I was promoted to Sales Engineer in 2002, then to Project Manager in 2013 and Sales & Marketing Manager in 2018.
In 2007 I completed my Level 2 Magnetic Particle qualification and am certified by AINDT. I have also completed Certificate IV in Business (Frontline Management) in 2008 and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40110 in 2012 .
I enjoy the challenges presented to us by our customers in designing & developing complete lifting & engineering solutions using the knowledge I have gained.
